Warm Traffic
Audiences that already know your brand — past buyers, email subscribers, social followers. Cheaper to convert but a capped-size pool.
Warm traffic is an audience that has some prior interaction with your brand: past customers, email subscribers, social followers, site visitors, people who've engaged with your content. Because they're already past the skepticism stage, they convert at significantly higher rates than cold traffic.
Typical CVR multipliers on warm traffic: past customers convert at 4-8x cold rates; email subscribers at 2-4x; social followers at 1.5-3x.
The strategic question isn't whether to work warm traffic — it's how much of the budget to allocate there. Over-indexing on warm audiences (50%+ of spend) usually means you're starving the top of funnel. Under-indexing (less than 15%) means you're leaving cheap conversions on the table.
