White Label

Selling a third-party product under your own brand name, typically without physical modifications. Often used interchangeably with private label.

White label is a product model where a third-party manufacturer produces a generic product that you sell under your own brand name, typically without physical modifications. The terms "white label" and "private label" are often used interchangeably, though in strict usage, white label is more generic (same product sold under many different brands) and private label is more custom (often with small formulation or packaging changes).

For most dropshipping purposes, the distinction doesn't matter operationally — the workflow (Alibaba MOQ, custom packaging, 3PL fulfillment, rebranded listings) is the same.
