Blended ROAS

Total store revenue divided by total ad spend across every channel. The honest number — unlike platform-reported ROAS, which double-counts.

Blended ROAS is total revenue ÷ total ad spend across every channel (Meta, Google, TikTok, influencer, anything that costs money). Unlike platform-reported ROAS, it can't double-count: if Meta and Google both claim the same sale, blended math makes that impossible by construction.

Example: you spend $1,000 on Meta and $500 on Google. Meta reports 4x ROAS ($4,000). Google reports 3x ROAS ($1,500). Total platform-reported: $5,500. But your store only did $4,200 that day. Blended ROAS: 4,200 / 1,500 = 2.8x. That's the real number. The 4x and 3x are fantasy overlap.

At scale, blended ROAS is the only ROAS that matters for cash-flow decisions. Platform ROAS is useful for optimization inside a single account — nothing more.
