CVR
Conversion Rate — percentage of site visitors who make a purchase. 1-3% is typical for cold traffic; 5%+ signals a strong product-page-to-traffic fit.
CVR is the percentage of people who land on your store and end up buying: orders ÷ sessions. It's the purest measure of whether your product page, offer, and traffic are aligned.
Benchmarks by traffic type:
- Cold Meta traffic: 1-2.5% CVR is typical; 3%+ is a winning product.
- TikTok Shop / UGC-driven: 0.8-2% (lower intent, higher impulse).
- Email flow traffic: 8-15% (warm, pre-qualified).
- Branded Google search: 10%+ (purchase-intent baked in).
Low site-wide CVR is almost always a product-page problem (slow load, weak copy, bad photos, no social proof), not an ad problem. Fixing CVR from 1.2% to 2.2% is equivalent to cutting ad spend in half — it's the single highest-leverage lever in dropshipping.
