DPV
Detail Page View — a tracked event on Meta / TikTok / Google that fires when someone lands on your product page. Used to measure ad quality further down the funnel than a click.
DPV is the pixel event that fires when someone lands on a product detail page (the PDP). It sits between Click and Add-to-Cart in the funnel, and it's one of the most underused metrics in dropshipping.
Why it matters: a click is worthless if the person bounces before the page loads. DPV measures who actually arrived and engaged. If your CTR is 2% but your click-to-DPV rate is only 50%, you have a site-speed or redirect problem that's silently wasting half your ad budget.
On Meta, DPV (ViewContent in the pixel) is also a great mid-funnel optimization event when your Purchase volume is too low to train the algorithm. Running campaigns optimized for ViewContent until you have 50+ purchases/week is a classic scaling sequence.
