Evergreen

A product, ad, or offer that works year-round without relying on seasonality or hype cycles. The opposite of a trend product.

Evergreen describes a product, ad creative, or offer that holds performance year-round, not tied to a season, trend, holiday, or cultural moment. Evergreen is the opposite of trend products (air fryers when TikTok trends, Halloween costumes in October) and has structurally more durable unit economics.

The operator's dream is an evergreen hero product with an evergreen winning creative. That combination compounds for 18-36 months at scale — rare but real, and what most serious operators are hunting for.

Trend products have their place, but the math is different: high peaks, steep drop-offs, and the need to replace the entire business every 3-6 months. Most $500K+/year stores are evergreen; most $100K-hit-and-gone stores are trend.
