Collection Page

A page that lists a category or group of related products in a grid. The Shopify term for what other platforms call a category page.

A collection page is a page on your store that displays a grid of related products — usually grouped by category, use case, or theme. In Shopify's taxonomy it's called a collection; other platforms call it a category page.

Well-optimized collection pages are underrated SEO assets. Google treats them as category-intent pages, and they often rank for broader terms than any individual PDP could. A strong collection page includes: a category-level H1; intro copy that's actually useful (not filler); filtering by attribute; and curated bestsellers above the fold rather than a dump of every SKU in the catalog.
